Sonya Merritt is a native of the seacoast and a lifelong student.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, her graduate degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Sonya’s first career spanned thirteen years at a Fortune 500 financial services company. After a series of progressively more responsible positions she was promoted to an executive management consultant.

An adept disciple of human dynamics and communication, Sonya made her mark by helping to align behaviors and actions with goals. Along with Tommy Hensel and Dawn Darby, she is one of the co-founders of Wei Chi Healing. Her insightful perspective,

analytical finesse and compassionate reasoning are now being introduced to effect pronounced personal change at the Healing Garden.

She is available for Wei Chi Healing, spiritual coaching and meditation sessions. Sonya lives in Durham with her family and is thrilled that the Healing Garden is now a reality.

Dawn Darby possesses a unique mix of traditional and non-traditional skill sets making her an innovative healer. As a successfulbusiness analyst for nearly 20 years, she is adept at using time-honored techniques to prompt introspection within a client.  Additionally,her strong intuitive side and medium skills make for a powerful combination.

Thus, clients reap the benefits of both conventional and new age approaches. Dawn has been involved in the healing profession for several years and collaborated with Tommy Hensel and Sonya Merritt as co-founder of the new ground-breaking system, Wei Chi Healing.

Dawn is an avid martial artist, who studies Tang Soo Do, a Korean style of self defense. Studying the art form for 2 years, she holds the rank of Green Belt in this field.
