We all have one – a public self. The ‘smile’ we
put on when we are feeling like doing anything but. Now imagine
that the same coping skills which allow us to put on a smile, also keeps us distanced from the ones we love and from ourselves. When this happens we ‘play’ the character of ourselves,
based on what we believe others expect of us. At
times, we are more familiar with, and more comfortable with, the public image of us. And before long we spend most of our time living this outward existence centered on our public self.
Overtime this creates a distance within us, a gap between
our public self and our private self. When we experience
joy it is in those moments where our two selves, our split lives are actually merged. We feel depressed when they are divided. Our beliefs shape the world that we see and experience each day. They act as filters to help us sort out and make sense of our experiences.
Our minds process
billions of pieces of information each day.
We rely on established thought routines to “program’ or to make sense of all
that data. It’s as if we are collecting evidence
to support our hypothesis or our expectations. Unknowingly, many of our beliefswork to maintain the world where we live separated from our self (public self vs. inner self) since
this is the established thought routine.
An easy way to
explain it is the new car phenomenon. Have you ever bought a car only then to notice how many of these cars are out there on the roads already? Now, there wasn’t a run
on Honda Odyssey’s when you got yours last week
– there were this many already there. You just didn’t notice. Now that you have one, your perspective is rigged to acknowledge the others. Make sense?
Also, many of
us are using beliefs that we have unconsciously borrowed from others. Maybe you were told that you couldn’t sing when you were in elementary school or that only unattractive
girls chewed gum or that a father’s worth hinged
on their ability to fix anything that breaks around the house - so you pick up these beliefs and store them in the form of expectations unconsciously. These beliefs inform our expectations of our relationships, our view of ourselves, our
concepts of success and even happiness.
Whose beliefs
are you walking around with?
Since you can’t change what you can’t see, this is where Wei Chi Healing comes in. Wei
Chi (pronounced way chee) Healing is a unique

your perspective allowing you to truly see, evaluate
and embrace your own beliefs; allowing you to make
meaningful lasting changes and to take a step closer to your inner-self.
The system combines the channeling of healing energy, known

sessions over the course of a month. Sessions are approximately two hours long and are a combination of seated dialogue
and proneenergy work. Each session ends with the review
of key insights gained, resonant intuitive messages and
key images/symbols which are provided in summary question format for the client to review, elaborate and respond to in the next session.
A transformative mix of energy work and counseling, Wei Chi
Healing is named for a Tibetan shaman whose work embodies
